IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:
  1. Each person must have a Texas Saltwater Fishing License AND a special “Saltwater Stamp” in order to fish.   You can purchase your license in Port Aransas – at convenience stores, tackle shops, and I.G.A. (It is here easier to purchase here in town than anywhere else!). If you need more information regarding ages and specific for obtaining your license, please visit Texas Park And Wildlife’s site.  You may also E-mail the Captain and ask questions too!
  2. Fish Tales supplies everything you need for a successful day of fishing.  But you might want to bring along your camera, sunscreen, light jacket, insect repellent, your license of course and your favorite snacks and drinks.  (Please no Styrofoam ice chests – they always blow away and are ecologically harmful to the bays and gulf – thank you!)
  3. If you are bringing small children, please let us know.  We will have the proper size live vest you may want to bring a life preserver that is appropriately sized for better fit and comfort but Fish Tales does have smaller life vests for your convenience as well.
  4. Other factors to consider for your great day of fishing include: the rise and fall of tides, moon phases, Captain’s bait of choice (live or dead), wind, water temperature, salinity and air pressure.
